Product Designer at Galaktica

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Galaktica is a Ukrainian product IT company that creates and promotes its own online projects in the most profitable markets: the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU.

REQUIREMENTS

– Confident proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, styles)
– Experience with design systems and component-based approach
– Creation of user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity layouts
– Designing new features from idea to handover to developers
– Refactoring components and screens ensuring UX/UI consistency
– Interaction with developers, understanding state logic
– Working with product metrics and feedback
– Formulation of UX hypotheses
– Formulating user problems
– Basic usability testing
– Understanding the product context and business goals
– Documenting design solutions and self-review
– Experience with mobile applications (iOS/Android) is a plus
– Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end logic is a plus
– Participation in A/B tests and experiments is a plus
– Working with analytics (Clarity, GA, Amplitude, etc.) is a plus
– Experience scaling design systems is a plus
– Understanding product thinking and business goals is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Development of new features in collaboration with team lead and product manager
– Refactoring and support of components and screens according to the design system
– Creating adaptations, variations, and states
– Preparing layouts (states, edge cases) and maintaining UI consistency
– Participating in the development of the design system and assisting the team lead with daily tasks
