ABOUT THE PROJECT

We help find a Lead React Native Engineer for a startup that creates the world’s first offline social network. The product focuses on live communication and is currently transitioning from pilot stage to global scaling.

REQUIREMENTS

– Deep knowledge of React Native and its ecosystem.
– Confident in JavaScript and TypeScript.
– Understanding of native modules and specific platform development (iOS and Android).
– Experience integrating RESTful API.
– Knowledge of state management tools (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
– Experience optimizing mobile app performance and using debugging tools.
– Understanding best practices for mobile app security.
– Experience with CI/CD for mobile applications.
– Successful shipping of high-quality applications to the App Store and Google Play.
– Experience with Expo (advantage).
– Experience with GraphQL (advantage).
– Native mobile development experience (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java).

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Manage the development of new features in React Native and improve existing ones.
– Define and maintain the mobile app architecture, toolchain, and best development practices.
– Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create a seamless user experience (end-to-end).
– Optimize performance, memory usage, and app launch time.
– Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
– Monitor crashes, logs, and analytics for continuous product improvement.
