ABOUT THE PROJECT

FPRT is a Danish company developing and manufacturing fuel and components for engines. Currently, the company is opening its first European manufacturing complex in Vojens, Southern Denmark.

REQUIREMENTS

– Strong SQL skills (database design, indexing, relationships, optimization)
– Experience with RPA scripts or technologies (Power Automate, UiPath, Python or similar)
– Experience creating integrations via API, OData, file processing or other interfaces
– Experience designing and supporting ETL pipelines
– Experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase)
– Basic understanding of PLC protocols (OPC UA, Modbus or similar) is a plus
– Familiarity with industrial equipment integration is a significant advantage
– High responsibility, precision and ability to manage technically detailed tasks independently

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Automating business processes (RPA) by developing small automation tools and robots for optimizing routine tasks (invoice processing, HR processes, financial reporting, recruitment dashboards, etc.)
– Supporting and updating RPA workflows in line with process developments
– Ensuring reliability and error-free execution of automation scripts
– Data integration and ETL (SAP → Internal Database) by extracting data from SAP (through API, OData, table access or connectors) and creating automated extraction flows
– Designing, building and supporting structured SQL database architecture (hundreds of tables, relationships, keys)
– Setting up nightly ETL cycles (Extract-Transform-Load), monitoring data quality and consistency
– Creating unified data architecture for production, HR, finance, logistics and other functions
– Development of BI by creating and maintaining BI dashboards for production, finance, HR teams, etc.
– Quick and accurate execution of custom reporting requests
– Ensuring availability, accuracy of data and automated update processes
– Equipment integration and data collection by coordinating with equipment manufacturers for communication protocols and integration specifications
– Developing data collection drivers capturing parameters from furnaces, mixers and X-ray facilities (temperature, cycles, polymerization parameters, etc.)
– Streaming data in real-time or high frequency to SQL tables (1 second or faster)
– Implementing logic to alert for deviations from acceptable ranges
– System integration and implementation of the digital factory by setting up connections and data flows between PLC → PC → SQL → BI
– Supporting pre-MES integration work and ensuring data readiness for future MES deployment
– Assisting in verifying that equipment signals and data interfaces are functioning properly
– Internal support and collaboration by providing basic training and instructions for internal staff using automation tools, dashboards and digital workflows
– Supporting business teams (Finance, HR, SCM, Production) with data-driven and automation-focused solutions
– Acting as a technical point of contact for small automation tasks, coordinating external experts only for large development projects
