ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer for a defense technology company specializing in AI-based guidance and navigation solutions. They work with manufacturers of medium-range loitering munitions to operate in areas without GPS signals. They develop embedded AI solutions that allow kamikaze drones to autonomously identify, track, and hit targets with high precision.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3+ years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++)
– Deep understanding of microcontrollers (ARM Cortex series or similar) and RTOS based systems.
– Experience with low-level communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
– Strong debugging skills and hardware bring-up capabilities.
– Knowledge of navigation systems (GNSS, INS) and sensor integration experience.
– Proficient in Git, working with CI/CD pipelines, and understanding best practices in version control.
– Ability to work in dynamic, mission-oriented teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for flight control, navigation, and mission execution.
– Integration of sensor data (GNSS, IMU, visual data) for making reliable real-time decisions.
– Close collaboration with hardware and avionics developer teams for seamless integration of software and electronics.
– Implementation of safety-critical logic, fault protection systems, and backup protocols.
– Conducting simulations, HIL testing, and flight software debugging in the field.
– Performance optimization for operating in resource-constrained conditions (low power consumption, limited computing power, and memory).
– Participation in system architecture discussions and contributions to future design iterations.
