Provide architectural leadership during programme initiation ensuring fraud risk, customer protection, and regulatory impacts are assessed early and comprehensively. Drive secure-by-design and fraud-by-design principles across digital onboarding, payments, customer communications, and sensitive data exposure initiatives. Ensure solutions align to enterprise strategy, CTO standards, regulatory requirements, and fraud control frameworks.
Own resolution of cross-domain design issues; particularly where sensitive data, customer authentication, or transaction risk is impacted. Oversee expansion of high-risk capabilities ensuring appropriate logging, monitoring, and segregation of duties. Working with the Fraud CIO Technical Leads/Analysts in solution design ensuring initiative alignment to the fraud strategic technical roadmap.
Contributing to the Technical Lead/Analyst Guild including making recommendations on architecture best practices, standards and patterns where necessary. Maintaining the existing Fraud technology view recommending improvements and migrations to improve efficiency and alignment to architecture recommendations. Required Skills &
Qualification Proven experience of 14-18 years leading solution architecture for large, scalable and complex programmes within regulated financial services. Experience designing systems handling sensitive customer data with appropriate access controls and monitoring. Ability to challenge constructively and influence senior (fraud and cross-domain)
