ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are a health technology company helping seniors and their families navigate and enroll in essential eldercare benefits, including Medicaid, Medicare, and VA programs.
Our work sits at the intersection of healthcare, government systems, and real human lives — where correctness, reliability, and trust are critical.
As patient volume scales from hundreds to thousands, manual operations are no longer sustainable. We are building AI-powered systems that automate routine operational work while keeping humans firmly in the loop for quality control, edge cases, and patient safety.
Our mission is to make complex healthcare operations scalable without losing the human touch.

REQUIREMENTS

– 6+ years of experience building and operating production software systems
– Proven experience architecting and owning complex backend-heavy systems
– Strong backend engineering skills (TypeScript and Node.js preferred, but we are language-agnostic)
– Experience with asynchronous, event-driven, or workflow-based distributed systems
– Ability to work with a required 4–5 hour daily overlap with the US team (until approximately 20:00–21:00 Polish time)
– Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces with incomplete information
– Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
– Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Drive the technical design and implementation of scalable backend systems
– Make and document architectural decisions with clear trade-offs
– Define patterns for AI and human collaboration in production workflows
– Partner closely with operations teams to understand real-world edge cases and failure modes
– Ensure systems are observable, auditable, and safe to operate at scale
– Identify technical risks proactively and propose mitigations
– Maintain a high bar for code quality, testing, and system design
– Contribute to technical excellence through design reviews and collaboration
