ABOUT THE PROJECT

PLVision is looking for an Automation QA Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Python, practical knowledge of the Linux OS, and an understanding of computer networking technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

– Good understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
– 1+ years of experience in test automation (Python/Ansible/Bash), with a strong willingness to grow in this area
– Practical knowledge of the Linux environment (basic commands, navigation)
– Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
– Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies and tools (Gerrit, Jenkins, etc.)
– Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documenting test results
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
– Would be a plus: Experience with SAI/SONiC implementation and integration, Hands-on experience with testing Network Operating System (NOS) products, Experience in embedded application development, Knowledge of Linux networking, Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Contribute to product quality by building and maintaining stable test environments for networking solutions
– Expand test coverage by designing and executing test cases for new product features under the guidance of senior engineers
– Perform functional and regression testing of open-source networking operating systems across multiple platforms and maintain clear documentation for debugging
– Assist in test automation, including developing and running scripts to support continuous integration and test environments
– Support the engineering team by troubleshooting basic build and integration issues
