Proficient in Autodesk Maya Experience in character rigging (biped, quadruped, stylized, and realistic characters) Strong understanding of anatomy, movement principles, and deformation systems Basic or solid knowledge of Python / MEL for rigging automation Understanding of animation pipelines and rig integration into Unreal Engine Experience with facial rigging Experience working with Unreal Engine and integrating rigs into the engine Knowledge of exporting and preparing rigs for games or rendering Portfolio / demo reel required Experience working with Driven Keys, Node Editor, and PoseWrangler to create muscle tension setups and secondary motion systems Responsibilities: Create and maintain production-ready rigs for animators (biped, quadruped, stylized, and realistic characters) Set up skin weighting and correct deformations using Driven Keys, Node Editor, and PoseWrangler Work extensively with Node Editor and write scripts to support rigging workflows Optimize rigs for animation performance and real-time engine requirements Experience with Advanced Skeleton, HumanIK, mGear, and MotionBuilder Experience with motion capture workflows and retargeting Experience setting up and validating rigs directly inside Unreal Engine
