ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is an Israel-based company building next-generation infrastructure for Big Data systems. Backed by top investors including Hertz Ventures, Sierra Ventures, and Essence, the company is led by founders with proven success in cloud infrastructure and B2B SaaS.
REQUIREMENTS
– 5+ years of relevant experience in systems programming
– Expertise in Rust
– Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
– Experience in low-level system architecture
– Proven ability to take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery
– Level of spoken English: Fluent (C1)

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Accelerating distributed systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Ray
– Building native Rust-based execution engines
– Deep performance tuning (e.g., SIMD, cache locality, zero-copy IO)
