We are looking for an experienced Senior Navigation / Controls Engineer with Strong proficiency in C++ and Python and in autonomous systems, robotics, or aerospace-adjacent navigation software to join a team of high-growth startup environments characterized by zero bureaucracy and massive engineering challenges. You will work alongside top-tier industry experts to build a product that is redefining the future of aviation. Our client is an ambitious US-based startup developing one of the most technically demanding autonomous aircraft in existence today. We are seeking a visionary and high-caliber technical leader to take full ownership of the system’s “brain”
the navigation stack that ensures stability and flight safety in the most challenging environments. This is a role for those who want to see their code in the sky, powering aircraft capable of 20-hour autonomous missions. Architecture & Real-time Logic: Design RTOS task architectures, inter-system communication protocols, and mission-critical failsafe logic.
Hardware Collaboration: Work alongside the client’s electrical engineers, contributing code that runs on the V3 flight computer under hard real-time constraints. Validation: Set up Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test infrastructure to ensure every firmware component is validated against a simulated aircraft before it ever takes flight.
