ABOUT THE PROJECT

The client is a large North American retailer operating a high-scale supply chain and warehouse management platforms. Their systems support business-critical operations and run in a distributed, 24/7 production environment with a strong focus on reliability and stability.The project focuses on backend systems that support supply chain services and warehouse management. The team develops and maintains Java-based microservices and works with production systems.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3–5 years of professional experience in software development.
– Solid experience working with Java and Spring Boot.
– Practical experience with SQL databases, AWS, and Kubernetes.
– Experience building or supporting RESTful APIs and microservices.
– Exposure to production systems and basic incident troubleshooting.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Develop and maintain backend services supporting supply chain and warehouse management systems.
– Contribute to system design and implementation under guidance from senior engineers.
– Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code.
– Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices.
– Perform automated and manual testing to ensure software quality.
– Document implemented solutions and system behavior.
– Participate in production support activities, including incident triage and investigation.
– Take part in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents within defined SLAs.
