ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our client is a global jewelry manufacturer and retailer that is transforming the way developers work with cutting-edge platform engineering. The mission is to empower our engineering teams with exceptional self-service capabilities by leveraging automation, standardization, and innovative solutions. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will contribute to feature development, integrations, and UI improvements, working closely with a Senior Backstage Platform Engineer and other platform stakeholders. Build and extend Backstage plugins, frontend components, and backend services under existing architectural guidance.Contribute to the Software Catalog, helping improve visibility and consistency of services and resources.Implement and maintain platform integrations with internal tools and cloud services.Develop self-service workflows and APIs that replace manual operational processes.Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and security teams to ensure solutions meet internal standards.Follow established secure SDLC, compliance, and quality practices.Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.Learn and apply platform engineering and DevEx best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3-4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
– Solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
– Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
– Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native development.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within an existing platform architecture.
– Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
– Experience with Backstage.io or other internal developer platforms.
– Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
– Cloud platforms: Azure.
– Monitoring tools: New Relic.
– Proactive and initiative-driven: You take ownership and find ways to automate manual processes and improve the platform.
– Outstanding communication skills: You work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to understand their needs.
