ABOUT THE PROJECT

The mission is to empower our engineering teams with exceptional self-service capabilities by leveraging automation, standardization, and innovative solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3-4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
– Solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
– Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
– Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native development.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within an existing platform architecture.
– Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
– Experience with Backstage.io or other internal developer platforms.
– Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
– Cloud platforms: Azure.
– Monitoring tools: New Relic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Contribute to feature development, integrations, and UI improvements, working closely with a Senior Backstage Platform Engineer and other platform stakeholders.
– Build and extend Backstage plugins, frontend components, and backend services under existing architectural guidance.
– Contribute to the Software Catalog, helping improve visibility and consistency of services and resources.
– Implement and maintain platform integrations with internal tools and cloud services.
– Develop self-service workflows and APIs that replace manual operational processes.
– Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and security teams to ensure solutions meet internal standards.
– Follow established secure SDLC, compliance, and quality practices.
– Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Learn and apply platform engineering and DevEx best practices.
