Senior Automation QA Engineer at Symphony Solutions

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are interested in hiring a Senior Automation Quality Assurance engineer for full-time work for our Belgian customer, a leading provider of Supply Chain Planning software.

REQUIREMENTS

– Experience in desktop applications, client-server architecture, web applications testing, both manual and automated.
– Knowledge of programming/scripting language to develop/adapt automation scripts: Selenium (scripting language – type script), Postman.
– Knowledge of QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge in daily operations.
– Experience in test cases design, implementation, and support.
– Experience in UI, functional, smoke, stress, and performance testing.
– Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum basics).
– Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SVN, Git.
– Practical experience with SQL/TQL.
– Self-directed, willingness to search/ propose a solution to improve the efficiency of testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using different tools and languages to perform web API, UI, load tests, and continuous integration testing.
– Accurately estimating the priority level and difficulty of the required testing and planning accordingly.
– Continuously optimizing and extending our test environments.
– Tracking bugs and documenting your actions, while continuously communicating with all parties involved, such as software engineers, project managers, and consultants.
