ABOUT THE PROJECT

Swarmer develops software that makes drones autonomous and allows them to operate together, in large teams, without pilots required. Our technology has been battle-tested across 100,000+ combat missions in Ukraine — the world’s most intense proving ground for drone warfare. We just closed a $15M Series A (the largest investment in Ukrainian defense tech since the war began) and we’re scaling operations to serve NATO-aligned nations. This isn’t theoretical. This is software that’s being used right now to save lives and defend democracy.

REQUIREMENTS

– Embedded systems expertise
– Advanced networking knowledge
– Familiarity with MESH networking protocols (802.11s, BATMAN, OLSR, etc.)
– Experience in developing hardware/software integrations
– Networking firmware and drivers maintenance skills
– Ability to troubleshoot and debug MESH communication issues

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Design, implement, and optimize embedded networking solutions with a focus on MESH networking protocols
– Develop and test embedded hardware/software integrations for radios and networking modules
– Configure, tune, and validate wireless MESH communication stacks
– Troubleshoot and debug link reliability and routing issues
– Maintain and update networking firmware and protocol stacks
– Contribute to security hardening against jamming, spoofing, or interception
– Collaborate with autonomy, DevOps, and security teams for integration
