Cloud FinOps Lead at Spendbase

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Spendbase is a global fintech company with a startup mindset, helping businesses optimize their spending on SaaS, cloud services, and corporate cards. We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Lead to take ownership of AWS- and GCP-related operational processes, manage client benefits and partner programs, and ensure accuracy across internal tracking systems. This is a post-sales, client-facing role responsible for driving value realization for our customers, serving as their primary point of contact for cloud billing, discounts, and optimization opportunities throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS

– 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations, FinOps, or post-sales customer success in a B2B environment
– Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and/or GCP, including billing, pricing models, discount mechanisms, and partner program structures
– Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships at a senior level
– Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team
– Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with billing data, usage reports, and identifying cost optimization opportunities
– Experience driving process improvements or automation initiatives in an operational context
– Strategic mindset with the ability to define direction, set priorities, and execute independently
– Upper-Intermediate+ English

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations specialists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery standards
– Own and drive the strategic direction of the cloud practice, defining priorities, frameworks, and a long-term roadmap
– Own the end-to-end process of AWS and GCP client benefit tracking and validation
– Ensure customers receive the correct AWS and GCP Discounts and Credits by proactively monitoring accounts
– Define and track customer success metrics to ensure clients achieve their business goals
– Analyze usage and billing data to identify risks, discrepancies, and growth opportunities
– Identify expansion opportunities related to cloud optimization programs across AWS and GCP
– Contribute to automation initiatives where possible
