Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech startup helping companies gain full visibility and control over their cloud and software spend. As we scale our platform and product suite, we’re looking for a Product Designer to join our product team and help shape intuitive, scalable, and visually polished user experiences.
This role is ideal for a designer who is confident in owning end-to-end design work, but still hands-on and excited to collaborate closely with Product and Engineering.
What you’ll do
– Own the full design lifecycle for product features, from discovery and UX flows to high-fidelity UI and handoff
– Translate complex fintech and SaaS workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences
– Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems and deliver solutions
– Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
– Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
– Validate design decisions through user feedback, usability testing, and data when available
– Balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals in every design decision
What we’re looking for
– 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role in SaaS or tech products
– Strong experience across both UX and UI (this role requires strength in both)
– Ability to independently lead design for complex product areas
– Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design
– Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in an agile environment
– Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work (UX thinking and final UI)
– Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma or similar)
– Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
– Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or data-heavy products
– Experience designing dashboards or complex workflows
– Familiarity with design systems at scale
