REQUIREMENTS

– 4+ years of experience in web software development
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Proficient in Server Side Rendering concepts (Handlebars, Freemarker)
– Deep expertise in responsive HTML, CSS
– Familiarity with SEO and Accessibility optimisations
– Good knowledge of KnockoutJS, ReactJS
– Strong in Java 11+. Good OOP skills.
– Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3, MVC and MVVM patterns
– Experience with Message Brokers (Kafka, AWS SNS SQS)
– Good knowledge of micro-services concepts
– Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL MS SQL)
– English Upper-Intermediate (B2 or higher); Ukrainian – fluent
– Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub)
– Ability to adapt and contribute to other projects if needed. Spread knowledge
– Nice to have: Experience with Java-based CMS systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Empower our team by simplifying content creation like News Articles, Newsletters and Analyst Reports via CMS.
– Develop high-quality, testable code that meets PitchBook’s engineering standards and guidelines for quality, reliability, stability, performance, and other non-functional requirements.
– Adhere to engineering processes and practices, including performing code reviews, creating unit tests, and following all SDLC procedures.
– Collaborate in team and other teams to meet sprint’s goal.
– Document and maintain software functionality.
– Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
– Comply with project plans and industry/company/team standards.
– Contribute to architectural decisions and system designs.
– Ensure tech debt is identified and addressed in a way to support efficient product delivery & services stability.
