Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at SPD Technology

REQUIREMENTS

– Strong proficiency in Java (Java 17+ preferred)
– Experience with test automation frameworks
– Hands-on experience with UI, API, integration, e2e testing, CI/CD
– Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
– Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Elastic is considered a plus
– Solid knowledge of software testing principles, design patterns, and OOP
– Proven track record in performance testing, integration testing, and test data management
– Experience with using AI tools in engineering (Innovative approach to AI tooling utilization in SDLC would be a plus)
– English level – Upper intermediate, Ukrainian – Fluent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Design and implement automated test frameworks for API and backend services.
– Develop and execute test strategies for a microservices-based architecture.
– Implement CI/CD quality gates and maintain test coverage visibility.
– Collaborate with developers on testability, observability, and performance improvements.
– Identify, document, and track defects and technical risks.
– Ensure continuous improvement of test automation and QA processes.
– Mentor and support mid-level SDETs and QA engineers.
