Comic/Webtoon 2D Artist at Honeytech

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are Honeytech, one of the fastest-growing platforms for adult comics in Asian style. We are looking for a talented 2D Illustrator on a freelance basis to help us create amazing webtoons in the market!

REQUIREMENTS

– At least 1 year of commercial experience as an Illustrator/2D Artist.
– Knowledge of anatomical plasticity and character motion visualization.
– Must have experience creating illustrations in Asian style or similar (manga, hentai, manhwa).
– Proficiency in Illustrator, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint, as well as knowledge of Figma and Photoshop.
– Deep understanding of proportions, composition, color theory, and lighting.
– Knowledge of editing theory.
– Passion for webtoon/comic universe.
– Intermediate+ level of English.
– Ability to meet deadlines and work with adult content.
– Teamwork experience in production.
– Ability to work with AI tools (a plus).

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Collaborate with our Art Studio team to create unique content for our webtoon platform.
– Illustrate comic panels (50+ panels per episode).
– Conduct characters development based on references.
– Work closely with producers and screenwriters to achieve the best results.
– Participate in various comic creation stages: character development, cover creation, storyboarding, line art, coloring/rendering, and settings.
