Full Stack Engineer at Galaktica

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Galaktica is a Ukrainian product IT company creating and promoting online projects worldwide.

REQUIREMENTS

– Commercial experience in a similar position for at least 3 years.
– Proficient expertise in NestJS and Node.js (microservices, REST, WebSocket).
– Proficient expertise in React and Next.
– Knowledge of TypeScript.
– Experience in designing distributed systems.
– Experience with MySQL (complex queries, indexing, optimization).
– Knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub, queues).
– Experience with REST API and integrations with third-party services.
– Skills in writing unit and integration tests (Jest).
– Basic knowledge of Docker and experience with containers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Develop and maintain backend services based on NestJS/Node.js.
– Develop and maintain frontend based on React.
– Integrate with external APIs.
– Develop and maintain queues, caches, task schedulers.
– Optimize the performance of existing services.
– Maintain documentation on API, data schemes, and technical implementations.
– participate in grooming, planning, and task assessment.
– Refactor legacy modules and implement new code quality standards.
– Ensure service resilience and monitor metrics.
– Collaborate with QA and DevOps to achieve collective results.
