ABOUT THE PROJECT

Galaktica is a Ukrainian product IT company that creates and promotes its own online projects in the most affluent markets of the world: the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU. Our product has been monetized and profitable for over 6 years, which allows us to ensure employee growth and development, scale, and invest in creating new internal startups.

REQUIREMENTS

– 2+ years of experience as an in-house lawyer in an IT company or as a lawyer in a legal/consulting firm.
– Knowledge of corporate and contract law.
– Experience with international projects and legal documentation.
– Full higher legal education or last-year master’s student.
– Proficiency in spoken English, including legal terminology (level B2 or higher).
– (Advantage) Experience in digital e-commerce, PaaS, SaaS, any Tech niche (FinTech, Adtech, EdTech).
– (Advantage) Experience in supporting companies in the USA, Cyprus, Estonia, Malta, the UK, other EU jurisdictions, Singapore.
– (Advantage) Experience in relocating employees from Ukraine to other countries (including but not limited to Estonia and Cyprus).

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Provide legal support for non-resident companies.
– Support contracts with counterparties (mainly affiliate marketing partners).
– Analyze and minimize the risks of the company’s activities in various jurisdictions.
– Resolve ad hoc requests related to the company’s activities in various jurisdictions.
