Middle Full Stack Engineer at EveryMatrix

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Your primary focus will be on developing our notification transport system product using NodeJS, Redis, Kafka and MongoDB for backend services and React for the front-end interface. Your expertise in JavaScript will be vital to ensure seamless server-client communication.
This is an exciting product and we’re looking for people who are ready to face a challenge, analyze existing functionality and transform and adapt it into something great using the latest stack of Web technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

– At least three years of previous experience in a similar role
– Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
– Proven experience with REST web services and/or web APIs
– Ability to understand technical architecture
– Database experience, SQL & NoSQL
– Knowledge of OOP and Data Access / Management
– Knowledge about design patterns, optimization techniques and best practices
– Full understanding of all stages of software development lifecycle
– Good English, both written and spoken
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Adhere to the internal coding standards and guides, promote clean code practices and actively participate in teaching more junior colleagues through code reviews and feedback.
– Actively involved in code review, ensuring all internal and industry coding standards are followed.
– Identify opportunities for refactoring and improving the codebase’s scalability, stability, and performance.
– Implement improvements and offer solutions/alternatives on how to develop the code for better scalability.
– Ensure all code is documented, adhering to our coding standards and documentation practices.
– Handle incidents according to the defined SLAs and project processes.
– Contribute to best practices knowledge sharing within the project.
