Senior Project Manager at ELEKS

ABOUT THE PROJECT

ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Poland, Croatia or Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil).
Our client is one of the leading British renewable energy companies specializing in zero-carbon power generation. They own and operate several power plants, focusing on sustainable biomass production, renewable electricity generation, and distribution to businesses. The company manages a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, including biomass, hydroelectric, and pumped hydro storage facilities across the UK.

REQUIREMENTS

– 5-6 years of IT project management experience, including in large corporate environments
– Proven track record of managing mid- to large-scale and fixed-price projects
– Strong understanding of IT systems, project life cycles, and project financials (profitability, revenue, margins, etc.)
– Proficiency in Scrum
– Experience with SAFe methodology is a strong advantage
– Familiarity with PMBOK and Earned Value Management (EVM)
– Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with distributed teams and stakeholders
– Independent and proactive working style
– Advanced English

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
– Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
– Effectively analyze and report on project status
– Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
– Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
– Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
– Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
– Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
– Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
– Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
