REQUIREMENTS

– 2+ years of relevant privacy experience in a top-tier law firm or an in-house legal team of an IT company;
– Practical experience implementing privacy practices in product-driven companies (IT or businesses with an online presence);
– Knowledge of GDPR and U.S. State privacy laws;
– High level of legal English proficiency and strong drafting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Build compliance processes in line with data privacy laws and implement them across the company;
– Keep track of updates in legislation and case law in the field of personal data;
– Advise product, marketing, technical, and other teams on privacy compliance;
– Assess current and potential product functionality from a legal compliance perspective;
– Conduct DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments);
– Coordinate the handling of user rights requests (deletion, access, data portability) in collaboration with the support team;
– Proactively work with teams to implement and monitor compliance processes.
